1. What is SATIS?
 
SATIS is a French-speaking trade show dedicated to creation and technological innovation at the service of the media, entertainment, and AV communication industries.
 
A one-of-a-kind event in France
– – SATIS offers professionals a broad view of the technologies, tools, and services available to the AV ecosystem.
– – SCREEN4ALL is a showcase for start-ups and innovations that serve the media and content industries.
 
Buyers, users, and trendsetters from the media, below-the-line advertising, and AV integration industries will gather to learn more about the vast ecosystem of technologies and services that can help them take their business to the next level. A place to discover new solutions and products in the areas of image, sound, and IT, SATIS presents each year a wealth of tools and services for filming, post-producing, broadcasting and publishing content on all screens, along with AV communication and integration solutions..
 
Over 30 talks, workshops, and classes will be offered during the show.

 

2. What is SATIS TV?
 
During its 2020 edition, SATIS—the annual show dedicated to AV technologies—launched SATIS TV, the first channel dedicated to the industry.
 
SATIS TV features a full schedule of shows in a variety of formats, all focused on content diversity and expertise sharing; it builds on the main event’s offerings by showing an overview of the latest trends in the AV, broadcast, film, communication, and integration industries, with live and recorded shows, on-site reports, interviews on technical and creative topics (film, documentary, animation), and workshops (product presentations). SATIS TV will be built around the forum’s main attraction—its series of engaging talks—and let visitors who are unable to come in person enjoy a series of round tables, as well as presentations of new products and services.
 
The program schedule will remain available on demand year-round, after the event: this will enable SATIS TV to reach an international audience of French speakers.

8. How do I access the SATIS TV live stream?
 
Once you have received the e-mail confirming your registration, you must log in to the SATIS TV website using the same e-mail address.
When you first log in, you must create a password.
During your next visits:
– If you have not cleared your browser cache, the site will recognize you and you will be logged in automatically.
– If you have cleared your cache, you must re-enter your e-mail and password.
 

9. How do I access the networking resources
 
The networking resources can only be accessed from the SATIS TV website. This means you must register using this online form.
Once logged in to SATIS TV, , you may:
– Arrange a meeting with exhibitors, either in person at the event or as a video chat.
– Chat in real time with other registered participants.

II. Getting to SATIS

 

1. Do I need a pass to join SATIS?

 
In order to access the trade show, visitors must register using this online form. Registration is entirely free, and gives access to all of SATIS’s events:

3. Can I register at the event?
 
Absolutely. Registration kiosks will be provided at the venue’s entrance (at Dock Haussmann). Keep in mind that there may be a queue. This is why we suggest you fill in this online form in advance, and come to SATIS with a printed pass.
 
4. Do I need a printed pass to enter the venue?
 
In order to access the Docks de Paris (and the exhibition and conference areas) and ensure constructive exchanges with other participants to the event, you must have your registration pass printed and visible. You will be able to print it upon your arrival, but we advise you to print it in advance in order to avoid waiting times.
 
5. I registered to last year’s SATIS. Do I need to register again?
 
Absolutely. Your registration is valid for one year.
However, if you have registered to SATIS TV, your registration will be valid for the following event.
For instance, if you have registered to SATIS TV – Live & Sports (June 2021), you will also be able to join SATIS in November 2021.

 

6. Where can I find my registration pass?
 
Upon completing your registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that includes a link to download your pass.
You may also go to your account page on the SATIS TV website and download your registration pass at any time.

 

7. How to come to SATIS?

8. I need to apply for a visa to come to France to attend SATIS. How do I do this?
 

In order to support your visa application to attend SATIS, we can provide you with a letter of invitation together with your accreditation obtained via this online form. Simply contact us with the following information:

9. What are SATIS’ opening hours?
 
SATIS is held over two days:

10. Will the show include a networking space?
 
In order for participants to engage with their fellow professionals under the best conditions, two networking areas will be available:
– On the upper level of Dock Pullman
– On the mezzanine of Dock Haussmann (booking required)

 

11. What food options will be available?
 
There will be on-site catering at Dock Haussmann, and a number of shops and restaurants are located around Place du Front Populaire (Paris metro line 12).
 
12. Will there be a coatroom at the entrance of the show?
 
A coatroom and locker service will be offered at the entrance of Dock Haussmann.
 
13. I would like my business to be an exhibitor at SATIS. Who should I contact?

III. Watch SATIS TV

 

1. Do I need to be registered to watch SATIS TV?

3. I registered to last year’s SATIS. Do I need to register again?
 
Absolutely. Your registration is valid for one year.

5. Can I ask a question remotely during a SATIS TV expert discussion?
 
Absolutely. The live stream will include a chat, so that viewers can ask questions. A moderator will check that questions are relevant before sending them to the host on set, who will share it with the experts. This means your question will be answered live.

 

6. When will SATIS TV be available as video on demand?
 
SATIS TV content will be available on demand a few days after the live stream is over, through the SATIS website.
 
7. I am connected to SATIS TV, but cannot see any content. Is this normal?
 
Access to SATIS TV and the show’s networking resources is restricted to registered participants.
If you are connected to SATIS TV, but cannot access any content:
– Have you registered using the appropriate online form?
– Have you completed the registration form ?
– Have you received the confirmation e-mail?
– Did you connect to SATIS TV using the same e-mail you registered with?
If the answer to all these questions is “Yes”, please reach out to us.

IV. Networking

 

1. How do I access the networking resources?

 
The networking resources can only be accessed from the SATIS TV website. This means you must register using this online form.
Once logged in to SATIS TV, you may:
– Arrange a meeting with exhibitors, either in person at the event or as a videoconference.
– Chat in real time with other registered participants.

 

2. I will be present at SATIS and would like to meet with exhibitors. What opportunities exist?
 
SATIS offers a number of ways in which you can meet with exhibitors.
You can log in to the SATIS TV website, click on “Exhibitors” in the menu, and select the company you wish to contact.
 
a. Face-to-face meeting:
Click “Book a meeting”.
A list of available time slots will be displayed. Pick one that suits you.
You will receive an e-mail letting you know if the exhibitor decides to accept your request.

 
b. Live chat:
Click “Chat now” A live chat window opens, and the person in charge of the booth will receive your message. If they do not respond immediately, you will receive a notification e-mail when they do.
 
c. Contact request:
Click “Request contact”: your information will be sent to the exhibitor, who will contact you to arrange a meeting.

 

3. I will be present at SATIS and would like to meet with attendees. Who should I contact?
 
You can meet with other SATIS attendees before, during, and after the show.
Log in to the SATIS TV website, and click on “Networking” then “Chat”. A Live Chat window will open. On the left, you can search for participants by surname, business name, or even keyword e.g. “camera”. If they do not respond immediately, you will receive a notification e-mail when they do.
 
4. I cannot come to SATIS, but I would like to meet exhibitors and/or partners remotely. Is this possible?
 
SATIS lets you interact with other participants, even remotely.
Log in to the SATIS TV, website, and click on “Networking” then “Chat”. A live chat window will open. On the left, you can search for participants by surname, business name, or even keyword e.g. “camera”. If they do not respond immediately, you will receive a notification e-mail when they do.
You can also arrange a virtual meeting using the video chat feature, by clicking the “camera” icon in the chat window.

 

5. How to book a video chat session?
 
If you are unable to join SATIS in person, a video chat system is available.
You can access it in two ways:
– You have booked a remote meeting with an exhibitor (see 1.a.). When the meeting begins, you can start a video chat simply by clicking the “camera” icon in the chat window.
– You are chatting with an attendee (see 2.). You can start a video chat simply by clicking the “camera” icon in the chat window.

 
If the video chat does not start, if there is no picture or sound, make sure that:
– Your browser is configured to allow video chats
– Your webcam is unobstructed
– Your microphone is not muted

 

6. Will the show include a networking space?
